At Portafolio Inmobiliario, we firmly believe that cities are living spaces that must evolve to improve people's quality of life and strengthen communities. With this vision in mind, Savia was born, a mixed-use project located in Barreal de Heredia, whose first stage represents an initial investment of more than $25 million and covers 80 hectares of development.
Savia is much more than a real estate project: it is a concept of a living, dynamic city that will harmoniously integrate residential, commercial, industrial, corporate, and recreational spaces. This development has been conceived under the principles of sustainability and modern urbanism, with the clear objective of promoting both business activity and the overall well-being of people.
The project is divided into two large sectors, Savia Norte and Savia Sur, which will be connected by a bridge that will facilitate fluid and efficient mobility.
What makes Savia unique is its deep respect for the natural environment and its commitment to biodiversity. From its inception, it has been advised by urban planner Peter Calthorpe and based on exhaustive biodiversity studies, which have allowed us to design a space that respects the harmony between development and the natural environment. We have inventoried the baseline biodiversity, with more than 125 species of birds, among many other forms of life, which reaffirms our commitment to responsible development.
In addition, Savia aspires to become a regional benchmark by registering its development as a Master Site under the international LEED certification, which will strengthen its positive impact on sustainability.
Savia is a project that honors the history of the land on which it is built: a coffee farm with deep family roots, which today is being transformed to continue adding value to Costa Rica. We are proud to know that we are building a space that will be a legacy for future generations.
At Portafolio Inmobiliario, we believe that Savia will mark a before and after in the way we conceive our cities: more inclusive, more sustainable, and more connected.
